Product Description

Ridge Grooves 3D Cement Wall Tile for Outdoor — a 25 mm relief tile in 225 × 450 mm modules, 10 pcs/m² coverage, 33 kg/m² installed. Cast in reinforced fine composite concrete and rated for interior and exterior walls, it ships factory-direct in 24 standard colours, with custom colour casting in 100+ chart shades (RAL / Pantone matching for trade projects). Free samples available.

Rain runs off the ridged face of the Apex 3D cement wall tile instead of pooling on it, one reason this peak-grooved module suits outdoor walls. The 25 mm profile is folded and faceted, and the 225 × 450 mm size is scaled for exterior elevations. Up close, an Apex ridge-groove tile reads as carved stone. Oriented vertically, the grooves draw the eye upward across tall exterior walls.

Design & Applications

The peaks of Ridge Grooves can run vertically or horizontally depending on installation, so one module produces either a rain-screen look or a horizontal band. Its hard-wearing composition makes it a natural choice for outdoor walls, and it also suits interiors that want a tougher, more industrial finish. Consider the companion Yacht Lines 3D wall tile where a calmer linear texture is required nearby.

Custom Colours – Any Shade from Our Colour Chart

Every LANDERY MOSAIC design can be custom-cast in 100+ colours from our studio colour chart: warm neutrals, beige and terracotta (KT series), cool greys (KB), brick reds (KR), ochre yellows (KY), dusty and saturated blues (KS / KA), sage greens (KG), taupe browns (KZ) and burnt oranges (KO). For architects, interior designers and shopfitting teams we offer custom colour matching – send a RAL, Pantone or NCS reference (or a physical sample) and we will cast the Ridge Grooves relief in your project colour. Made-to-order production keeps the same reinforced fine composite concrete body and the same relief depth in every shade, so a bespoke colour never compromises the tile.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size are Ridge Grooves tiles and how many do I need per square metre?

Each tile in the Ridge Grooves 3D Cement Wall Tile range measures 225 × 450 mm and stands 25 mm proud of the wall. Coverage is 10 pcs/m², so a 10 m² feature wall needs about 100 tiles. Allow an extra 8–10% for cuts at corners, openings and the end of each run.

How heavy is Ridge Grooves once it is on the wall?

One Ridge Grooves tile weighs 3.3 kg and a finished square metre weighs 33 kg. At this weight the wall has to be sound and mechanically fixed — on stud partitions add bracing or a tile backer board before fixing, and check the substrate before ordering.

Can Ridge Grooves be used outdoors, in a bathroom or on a shower wall?

The Ridge Grooves 3D Cement Wall Tile is made from Reinforced Fine Composite Concrete (UHPC) and is rated for both interior and exterior walls. In bathrooms and other wet areas, tank the substrate and seal the joints behind the tile, and keep direct shower spray off the relief. For exposed facades, tell us the project location when you enquire so the fixing, sealing and freeze–thaw detail can be specified for that climate.

What colours does Ridge Grooves come in, and can I order a sample first?

The Ridge Grooves 3D Cement Wall Tile is produced in 24 standard colours: 60T WHITE, 10C BEIGE, 5C GREY, 10C GREY, 30C GREY, 10T GREEN, 30C BEIGE, 30C BLUE, 10G PINK, 5G BRICK, ELEPHANT EAR, CAMEL, LOESS, REDDENED EARTH, MT-SILVER, MT-GOLD, MT-BROWN, MT-COFFEE, MT-BLACK, MT-GREEN, MT-FRUIT-GREEN, MT-WATER-BLUE, MT-D-BLUE and MT-WINE-RED. The same tone reads lighter or deeper depending on how the light rakes across the relief, so order a sample tile before committing to a full wall; samples ship from stock and can be ordered one colour at a time. Need a shade that is not on the list? See the Custom Colours section above – this design can be cast in 100+ chart shades or matched to your own reference.

Can I order Ridge Grooves in a custom colour?

Yes. Beyond the standard palette, the Ridge Grooves 3D Cement Wall Tile can be cast in any of the 100+ shades on the LANDERY colour chart – beige and terracotta (KT), grey (KB), brick red (KR), ochre yellow (KY), blue (KS / KA), green (KG), taupe (KZ) and orange (KO). For trade and project orders we also do custom color matching to RAL, Pantone or NCS codes – tell us the shade and quantity and we will confirm lead time and arrange a sample in that colour.

How is Ridge Grooves installed, and how do I keep the pattern aligned?

Fix with a cement-based tile adhesive on a flat, primed substrate and press each tile firmly into the combed bed. Because the relief is 25 mm deep, set out a dry run first: the pattern only reads correctly when the modules line up, so work from a datum line and check level every few rows. Cut edges with a diamond blade.
