Soft tubular curves roll across Tube, and the pattern can be set in either orientation. Modules are cast at 180 × 400 mm and 400 × 180 mm, so the same tubular motif can run as a horizontal pipe or a vertical one. The curves have no sharp edges at all, which gives the wall a calm, rounded surface instead of a graphic one.
Design & Applications
With 13.9 pcs/m² and a 16 mm profile, Tube covers a living room wall in relatively few pieces while keeping the transition between modules smooth. Because the tile is reversible in orientation, the pattern can follow a room's proportions: horizontal where the wall is long, vertical where the ceiling is high. How is Tubular Curves installed, and how do I keep the pattern aligned?
Fix with a cement-based tile adhesive on a flat, primed substrate. The 16 mm relief is shallow enough to cut with a diamond blade and fit around sockets and openings, but set out a dry run first so the pattern lines up from the datum line.
