Polytope combines raised and flat polygons within one 210 × 182 mm module, mixing 3D and 2D facets across a single tile. The result is a low, faceted surface that catches light in small planes, ideal for a kitchen where a backsplash needs texture without fuss.

Design & Applications

Each Polygon Relief unit mixes depths, so a tiled area can look hand-set even when it is laid in a straight grid. The flat facets stay practical to wipe, while the raised ones supply the visual interest. It is a good match for compact kitchens where one bold surface has to carry the whole design, and the polygon edges align across modules so grout lines stay subordinate to the facets.

  • Kitchen backsplashes behind the hob and sink;
  • Island-end panels and breakfast-bar fronts;
  • Utility and pantry feature walls;
  • Retail counters and coffee-bar cladding.

For a softer, curved counterpoint in the same setting, consider the Halfmoon 3D wall tile alongside the faceted Polytope field.

Custom Colours – Any Shade from Our Colour Chart

Every LANDERY MOSAIC design can be custom-cast in 100+ colours from our studio colour chart: warm neutrals, beige and terracotta (KT series), cool greys (KB), brick reds (KR), ochre yellows (KY), dusty and saturated blues (KS / KA), sage greens (KG), taupe browns (KZ) and burnt oranges (KO). For architects, interior designers and shopfitting teams we offer custom colour matching – send a RAL, Pantone or NCS reference (or a physical sample) and we will cast the Polygon Relief relief in your project colour. Made-to-order production keeps the same reinforced fine composite concrete body and the same relief depth in every shade, so a bespoke colour never compromises the tile.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size are Polygon Relief tiles and how many do I need per square metre?

Each tile in the Polygon Relief 3D Concrete Wall Tile range measures 210 × 182 mm and stands 26 mm proud of the wall. Coverage is 53 pcs/m², so a 10 m² feature wall needs about 530 tiles. Allow an extra 8–10% for cuts at corners, openings and the end of each run.

How heavy is Polygon Relief once it is on the wall?

One Polygon Relief tile weighs 0.55 kg and a finished square metre weighs 29 kg. At this weight the wall has to be sound and mechanically fixed — on stud partitions add bracing or a tile backer board before fixing, and check the substrate before ordering.

Can Polygon Relief be used outdoors, in a bathroom or on a shower wall?

The Polygon Relief 3D Concrete Wall Tile is made from Reinforced Fine Composite Concrete (UHPC) and is rated for both interior and exterior walls. In bathrooms and other wet areas, tank the substrate and seal the joints behind the tile, and keep direct shower spray off the relief. For exposed facades, tell us the project location when you enquire so the fixing, sealing and freeze–thaw detail can be specified for that climate.

What colours does Polygon Relief come in, and can I order a sample first?

The Polygon Relief 3D Concrete Wall Tile is produced in 24 standard colours: 60T WHITE, 10C BEIGE, 5C GREY, 10C GREY, 30C GREY, 10T GREEN, 30C BEIGE, 30C BLUE, 10G PINK, 5G BRICK, ELEPHANT EAR, CAMEL, LOESS, REDDENED EARTH, MT-SILVER, MT-GOLD, MT-BROWN, MT-COFFEE, MT-BLACK, MT-GREEN, MT-FRUIT-GREEN, MT-WATER-BLUE, MT-D-BLUE and MT-WINE-RED. The same tone reads lighter or deeper depending on how the light rakes across the relief, so order a sample tile before committing to a full wall; samples ship from stock and can be ordered one colour at a time. Need a shade that is not on the list? See the Custom Colours section above – this design can be cast in 100+ chart shades or matched to your own reference.

Can I order Polygon Relief in a custom colour?

Yes. Beyond the standard palette, the Polygon Relief 3D Cement Wall Tile can be cast in any of the 100+ shades on the LANDERY colour chart – beige and terracotta (KT), grey (KB), brick red (KR), ochre yellow (KY), blue (KS / KA), green (KG), taupe (KZ) and orange (KO). For trade and project orders we also do custom color matching to RAL, Pantone or NCS codes – tell us the shade and quantity and we will confirm lead time and arrange a sample in that colour.

How is Polygon Relief installed, and how do I keep the pattern aligned?

Fix with a cement-based tile adhesive on a flat, primed substrate and press each tile firmly into the combed bed. Because the relief is 26 mm deep, set out a dry run first: the pattern only reads correctly when the modules line up, so work from a datum line and check level every few rows. Cut edges with a diamond blade.
